Wild Eye is an exciting art and nature programme celebrating Scarborough’s incredible wildlife and coastal environment. Local communities, leading artists, businesses, and scientists are working together to create a series of events, artworks, and experiences that connect people with the natural world and support positive action for nature.

Wild Eye aims to foster a greater understanding of the incredible wildlife found across the North Yorkshire Coast, raising awareness of issues around nature, biodiversity and climate change.

WILDEYE WEBCAM

Throughout the season (and even occasionally off-season!), we run a series of Wild Eye events aboard the SeaGrown Centre.

We work with celebrated local chef, Rob Green, to showcase local sustainable seafood with simple and easy to follow recipes to try at home. These are usually once a month and space is limited, so please keep an eye on our social media for more information.

Every Sunday, SeaGrown's very own Alice delivers a talk in the visitor centre on board. Suitable for all ages, this informative and engaging presentation starts at 10:30am. Join us to learn more about SeaGrown, seaweed, and the future!

Wild Eye events are always free to attend. Follow SeaGrown Centre on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to find out more.

Wild Eye is being delivered by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and Invisible Dust in partnership with North Yorkshire Council.
